First Clip Of Final Lost Season!

Despite producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse saying there’ll be no new footage released in the trailers for the final season of Lost, the sneaky sods have gone and slipped in a clip thinking we wouldn’t notice.

Or, of course, they knew we would, and are greatly amused by the freaking out over the fraction of a second. Potential spoilers!

In the middle of this ABC promo that uses old clips, at 15 seconds you can spot Claire as she’s never been seen before – wild-haired and toting a rifle. We’ve always been under the assumption that she died in season five after being caught in an explosion. While walking around with a sore head, Claire had the ghost-whisperer Miles exclaim “wouldn’t be too sure about that” when she said she’ll live. We then saw her inexplicably abandon her baby to wander off with her father Christian Shephard, a supposedly dead guy, and shack up in Jacob’s cabin of creepiness.

We know the character is coming back for season 6, which screens on ABC on 2nd February, and Sky1 on the 5th. Check out the trailer below, and the freeze frame of Emilie de Raven back as Claire!
